In my Pocket Challenge

This week the In my Pocket Challenge was to include a square. I have loads of small pieces of paper left over from projects and decided to make a patchwork effect of squares inside my pocket. Used an assortment of blues/greens and edged the squares with silver krylon pen. Added a Happy Christmas sentiment at the top, some adhesive ribbon and a fastener. The patchwork effect, think it was the colouring and the fact that it was freezing outside here today made me think of ice skating. Now who can skate on my patchwork lake I thought -some snowpeople and I stamped Millie and Bobby snowpeople Stitchels stamps on shrinkplastic and after heating them they were just the right size for my patchwork lake. I can only scan and get piccies on my blog so they are flat but I have fitted a little paper fold at the back of them so they will stand up and the pocket will be 3D with back of pocket upright and Millie and Bobby standing up skating across the lake. On the front of the pocket I just added another patchwork panel and some ribbon embellishment.
