My first altered CD

Hi everyone. Thank you for visiting my blog. Well on Hels Angels blog each month Hels gives us wonderful ideas about techniques and this month one of the techniques was applying alcohol inks to CDs. Thank you Hels. I have been saving CDs for a while now not really sure what to do with them but thought one day they will come in useful!!! Well today have altered my first CD. I used currant and wild plum alcohol ink and added some blending solution. Dabbed it on the CD and then dabbed on again but drying with my heat gun to give bubble effect. Stamped on my favourite stamps "Natures Moments" by Tim Holtz. I love these stamps, especially the little bird. Stamped on image in versafine black inkpad but then embossed in gold. Definitely going to try this again it was great fun.
