I love trying out new crafts and have made a fat book page using encaustic art. It is great fun melting wax on small iron and then spreading over glossy paper.
Have been tagged by my friend Kazza and have to list seven random facts about me. Well here it goes
1. I love period costume -would love to have lived in victorian times wearing all those beautiful dresses. One of my favourite places is the V&A Museum where they have a wonderful exhibition of period costume.
2. I love chocolate. Wonderful stuff, especially chocolate fountains with loads of fruit and marshmallows.
3. I went to Romania on a school visit many years ago and visited Count Dracula's castle.
4. Love cottage garden flowers, e.g lupins, delphinums, sweet peas and would love to have those in my garden but constant battle at the moment with snails!!!
5. I have an NVQ 3 qualification in Childcare.
6. Have been on a loop the loop rollacoster ride in USA!!!
7. and finally I can play chopsticks on the piano.

Wow this is fantastic Rachel! I had one very short go at encaustic art a few years ago and all I msanaged was an awful mess!
