A Compendium of Curiosities Challenge Week 6

Doesnt seem possible but we are up to week 6 in the Compendium of Curiosities Challenge. This week the technique is "Multi-Medium Collage" details to be found in Tim Holtz Compendium of Curiosities book page 66. Now where shall I start I thought what can I alter. A while ago I joined in a matchbox challenge. The idea was to decorate a large matchbox and fill it with embellishments and swap it. I received a beautiful matchbox filled with all sorts of goodies. Three of these goodies were metal flowers. Been having a sort out too and found some script paper. Not sure where I found this but it has a lovely row of buttons on it. Covered my tag and added Distress Ink Aged Mahogany. The sentiment stamp is from the Tim Holtz Collection love that sentiment. Added some gems to the centre of the flowers and a couple on some of the buttons. I love this challenge -thank you Linda for setting it up. Look forward to trying out all the techniques in the Compendium. Why not pop along to Studio L3 and see all the entries they are brilliant.

This is just lovely! I spent longer trying to find something to alter than the glue did to dry, lol!

Rachel, this turned out so beautifully! Great, soft colors, and the Multi-Medium Technique is fabulous on the metal flowers. It all works together so well, from the background to the (wonderful!) sentiment to the bejeweled flowers to ribbon with the happy words! Well done!
