Sunday Stampers Challenge

This week the challenge was to include brown and blue. I placed a Dreamweaver tree stencil on to brown card. Blended a mixture of Distress inks over this used broken china and faded jeans. Then spritzed with Robin's Egg blue glimmer mist. Removed stencil carefully and dried with heatgun. I have been collecting some small stamps by Art Impressions small flowers, leaves etc that you can make into scenes. Stamped a bird image in one corner and then added some flowers and grass at the bottom using brown and blue inkpads. Cut out a piece of brown card 6" x 3" just the right size for a page in my Sunday Stampers book. Coloured the edge in colorbox blue inkpad and blended with lighter blue. Added leaf stamps around the edge. Mounted the tree image on pearlescent blue card then a bronze card. The glimmer mist effect doesnt show up very well in photo but adds a sparkling effect which I like just a little bit of magic. I wonder where that little bird is going hopefully somewhere nice and warm to shelter from the cold.
