In my Pocket Challenge

This week the In my Pocket Challenge was to include a cat in your pocket. Well I thought just the right opportunity to use my Penny Black stamp "It's your day". Brilliant image of cat and his best friend mouse enjoying bubble baths and nice drop of bubbly. The sentiment stamp is by Hooks, Lines and Inkers. But what shall I use for the background??? The postman has a brilliant habit of bringing in little parcels of things I have found internet shopping, just those little essential items you have to have. Today I received some collall photoglue. I love it and feel really lost when it runs out have to have a replacement tube nearby. Anyway back to business -it was packed in bubble wrap. Brilliant I thought lets play!!! Laid out the bubble wrap and painted it with Adirondack Sail Boat Blue paint with small patches of snowcap white. Cut out pocket shape in white card and laid it down on painted bubble wrap and took a print. Let that dry and then painted inside in sail boat blue. Let that dry and then painted bubble wrap in snow cap white and then took print on that side. Stamped image and coloured in aquatone pens. Cut to fit pocket and added sentiment inside. Added some paw print stamps in black on pocket flap and on front of pocket. Little mouse on front is a sticker I found in my stash of bits and pieces. Added "Best Friends" using my alphabet stamps.
