In my pocket challenge

This week the challenge was to include a watch/clock in your pocket. I thought I would use a theme of generations in my pocket and how time flies by so quickly. I remember when I went to school there is no way we would have been able to take a calculator into an exam. I was back in the era of log tables goodness knows when I was to use them. My dad is brilliant at his times tables in his day they had to learn them. They didnt put an emphasis on learning them when I was at school and I confess still struggle with some of them. He puts me to shame with mental arithmetic. It is amazing how things change over the ages. Time seems to pass so slowly when you are young cant wait to leave school and get out into the wide world but then it speeds up before you know it years have gone by. Well enough of my memories.

This week I used some Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous stamps. Cheated a little and used some mauve Tim Holtz paper I had in my stash. Stamped a wallpaper effect stamp first using Adirondack Eggplant inkpad. Edged pocket with Adirondack Espresso paint dabber. Stamped generations image on lightly tinted card in eggplant and mounted on pocket. Stamped watch image on similar card cut out and added to inside of pocket. Added some glossy accents to the watch face. Have just bought some small alphabet stamps and added "time flies". Covered the outside of the pocket with K&Co paper and smaller version of the generations stamp.
