Gothic Arch & In my Pocket Challenge
Have made a gothic arch and the challenge was to include pink in it. Have just bought some new background papers from Crafty Individuals Book 4 "Trees". Chose one of these for the background as it reminds me of spring. I love spring when all the cherry blossoms come on the trees. Cut out some of the words on the papers and mounted them on the image together with a small pink flower embellishment at the bottom. Edged the arch with gold krylon pen. This is the second gothic arch I have made and really enjoyed making it a new shape to experiment with.
The In my Pocket challenge this week was to include some art. I confess I love Tim Holtz stamps and just love the mona stamp so she is the star in my pocket. Used K & Co Le Fleur paper for the inside and K&Co Blue Awning Blue & Ivory Damask paper for the outside. Used Tim's pen nibs and staples stamps and Creativity stamp on the front of the pocket. Added some self-adhesive navy ribbon inside the pocket.
