In my pocket there is a message of love
This week the "In my Pocket Challenge" is to include a message of love. I have been having a sort out and found some sandy art which I had forgotten I had! Made some background paper for the front of my pocket by attaching double sided film to a card pocket base. Removed top layer of film and pressed down a piece of lace to cover this. Sprinkled on lighter red sand all over to cover and then removed excess by shaking over piece of spare paper. Then removed the lace and sprinkled darker red over the remaining areas which then showed up the flower pattern. This effect reminds me of red roses symbol of love. For the inside of the pocket used K& Co paper to line the pocket and collaged some letters from a sentiment sheet. Stamped on an image called "May you Love" from Paperbagstudios on a piece of lighter paper and then mounted on the background. Used a tag from K& Co at the bottom of the pocket and added two small red hearts made out of the front background paper. Added some gold eyelets and black ribbon to close the pocket. The stamped image has a quote "May you love all the days of your life". I would like to dedicate this pocket to my mum and dad who have been married for over 50 years.
