Sunday Stampers Challenge
This week the Sunday Stampers challenge was "For your eyes only". Somewhere on your project you were challenged to include a secret compartment. I decided to use a Hampton Art stamp with a face image. I love this stamp. For background cut tag shape out of black card and added some 7 gypsies diamond paper to it as a contrast. Decided to have black/white theme as main feature. My stamp has only one eye -what shall I do I thought well the saying beauty is in the eye of the beholder kept coming into my mind. How can I do a secret compartment and what can I put in it. Something beautiful -well I love flowers and decided to use a beautiful sunflower stamp I have designed by my friend Linda Luckin. Love this stamp gorgeous detail. Well decided to make two tags. Stamped face image on top tag in black inkpad and stamped eye on stampbord to make 3D effect. Edged with black adirondack paint dabber. Coloured second tag with blue colorbox inkpad and stamped on sunflower image. Coloured in aquatone pens and added gold glitter to centre of sunflower. Added "Beauty" to this tag and "Eye" to the top tag. Joined two tags together with some black ribbon and fixed second tag to background with brads. Top tag can just be slid across to reveal beauty tag underneath. I am going to add this tag to my Sunday Stampers book. Thanks Hels for setting the challenge its been great fun.
