Hi everyone, I have joined a Paper Artsy fat book page swap. I have been looking for a bit of inspiration recently and saw a wonderful mixture of colours the other day using Distress Ink pads, Spiced Marmalade and Fired brick. Blended these colours on a plain drink coaster and then spritzed with water to create droplet effect. Thanks Dan for wonderful idea. I used Paper Artsy stamps "Squiggly" range and stamped with black stazon inkpad. In boxes stamped hearts and stamped two on stampbord and then mounted. Added glossy accents to remainder of the hearts. Added german scrap butterfly. Finally spritzed with glimmer mist butterscotch. Mounted mat on black card and then on larger distressed mountboard in same colours but slightly darker. These will be the covers for my book. Have made a page which I will send out in the swap with similar technique.

Love the colours Rachel - I've just bought these stamps too, but not used them yet - lovely aren't they?? Love how you've used them!! xxx
