Flower envelope book

Been busy today and have made a DL size envelope with a flower theme. I love Tim Holtz stamps and my favourites are these flowers and the bird. I decided to try out a new technique today. I have joined the Hels Angels stampers group and every month Hels introduces us to a new technique. Thank you Hels. Well this time I tried the batik technique. Stamp the image with Versamark inkpad, put on clear embossing powder and heat. Then the fun part cover the image with ink pad, I used Color Box Petal Point Chalk pads, lilac and purple. Then placed paper on top and ironed to remove the embossing powder. Once the embossing powder is removed the white image is left. I stamped on some more flowers using Distress Ink dusty concord to give some more contrast. The envelope flap will be facing up. This page will now be added to a flower birthday book which will be put together by my friend Linda and auctioned for the Lymphoma Association.
